Living Conditions in the Concentration Camps
The living conditions within the concentration camps were unsanitary and problematic. German military officials forced women to participate in labor in deplorable conditions. Women were required to work every day, even if they were tired and hungry. Disease and illness was rampant in the camps, and millions of women died to due to the conditions. The camp inmates were not given the nutrition they needed, which in turn led to many deaths.
